John stretched, then began putting on his gear. First came the polyfiber jumpsuit, its woven scales sliding on easily. Next came his breastplate, belt, and codpiece, with his thigh straps shortly after, the buckles clipping together easily. Popping five tear gas grenades onto his right belt clips, he reached for his boots, with their alloy coated greaves and knee plate. Finally, sliding his bracers on, he stood, helmet in hand. Ready for whatever mission the SWAT team may have, he headed out to the armory, and from there to the scene of the crime.
