If you have any Vector field data, you can use this plug-in to draw the flow field, this plugin is a fully GPU-powered flow field visualization that can render a million particles at 60fps.
This plugin currently supports 4.26/4.27, you can build version otherwise through your IDE.

Suports png file(The chanel R is horizontal speed and the chanel G is vertical speed)
Suports Raw data(Input Vector2D array and value range, X is horizontal speed and the Y is vertical speed)
