Alien Invasion!

Welcome to today’s briefing, pilots. The four craft you see before you are the most common light combat class ships of our enemy. The first is the plasma drone – a completely AI controlled engine, minor gun ports, and a magnetically bottled antimatter sphere. Effectively little more than guided missiles with guns, these are often found in large swarms having launched from the mothership.

The second is the gunboat. Large and bulky, its four small canons mounted on orbital nacelles are shockingly powerful. Don’t let these guys get to close!

Next we have the Stealth Assault craft. Normally operating with its outer wingtips closed, and with a difficult to detect ion frequency engine, they will be on you before you know it, extending their cannons and popping twin particle beams at you.

And finally we have the Variable fighter. The pylons on which the gun pod, engine, and cockpit are mounted can pivot around the core axis, or bend around their own, allowing them unparalleled versatility, backed up by the firepower of their ion cannon and twin missile pods. Fortunately, they’re not very durable.
