Azrael is a character in DC Comics who has been portrayed by multiple individuals taking on the mantle. The most notable Azrael is Jean-Paul Valley. Created by writer Dennis O’Neil and artist Joe Quesada, Jean-Paul Valley first appeared in “Batman” #488 in 1993.
