Dark Matter Shaders

Dark Matter, a mysterious substance with a strange energy coursing throughout the universe. Until recently, it was only detectable through its gravitational influences. Now you can apply these exotic materials to your characters and props! Need antimatter for your warp core? Want to create a ghost that sucks the light out of a room? How about a star-energy gate, another dimension? Try these shaders on skin, clothing, vehicles, and weapons…and expose the wonder of the cosmos.

The majority of the 47 shaders emit an anti-light, a darkness which obscures nearby surfaces. More effects emerge when surfaces are lit from behind. You have control over texture, going to extreme levels, by using displacement. Keep in mind this works best on high poly models or you can apply Sub-D. You also have control over emission intensity and refraction color, allowing for customization in various lighting situations and mood.
