Vibe3D – Unreal Engine

Vibe3D – Unreal Engine
Vibe3D is an AI Editor Toolset for Unreal Engine 5.8 that connects your agentic IDE to Unreal’s built-in Modeling Tools through its native Model Context Protocol (MCP) support.
Describe what you want to build, and your AI agent can create and refine low-poly 3D assets directly inside Unreal Editor. Generate geometry, combine shapes, add materials, prepare UVs, collision, and LODs, and save reusable assets—all through a conversational workflow.
From game props and environment pieces to rapid prototypes, Vibe3D brings AI-assisted modeling into your Unreal workflow.
Additional information:
Platforms: Win64, Linux, Mac. Tested on Windows; Mac/Linux validation pending.
Dependencies: GeometryScripting, GeometryProcessing, MeshModelingToolset, ToolsetRegistry, PythonScriptPlugin and EditorScriptingUtilities. All are declared in Vibe3D.uplugin and enabled automatically. ToolsetRegistry and PythonScriptPlugin are Experimental in UE 5.8.
C++: One modeling service class (UModelingService), plus module implementation and tests; four C++ source/header files, approximately 4,900 lines.
Functions: 120 AICallable UFUNCTIONs, also accessible through editor Python using unreal.ModelingService.
Network Replicated: No.
Unreal Engine versions: 5.8
Documentation: Included README.md, modeling agent skill, and guides for modeled lettering, showcase rendering and asset delivery. Skills register at editor startup and can be refreshed with Vibe3D.ReloadSkills. Vibe3D.GenerateAgentConfig creates guidance for supported agent clients.
Prerequisites: UE 5.8 and a compatible C++ toolchain when compiling from source. An MCP-capable agentic IDE is required for conversational control through Unreal’s native MCP. Functions can also be used directly from editor Python.
Additional Notes: Editor-only tooling; the plugin does not run in packaged games. Generated assets can be used in games. No third-party libraries, external service integrations or telemetry are included. Agent communication uses Unreal’s native MCP endpoint. The source package contains no binaries, .uasset or .umap files.
