Installation
From Blender Extensions (recommended)
In Blender: Edit → Preferences → Extensions
Enable Online Access if needed
Search for Open Source Avatars or install from extensions.blender.org once published
Manual install (GitHub / zip)
Install the VRM add-on first (required for import).
Download the latest release .zip or clone this repo.
In Blender: Edit → Preferences → Add-ons → Install…
Select the folder blender_open_source_avatars (or the built .zip from a release).
Enable Import-Export: Open Source Avatars (VRM).

Usage
Open the OSA tab in the 3D Viewport sidebar (N).
Click Refresh collections to load the list.
Select a collection, then Load avatars (or rely on auto-load).
Use the search field to filter by name.
Click Import VRM on an avatar to download and import it (VRM add-on must be enabled).

Requirements
Blender 3.0+ (4.2+ recommended for Extensions workflow)
VRM add-on for importing VRM files
Online access allowed in Blender when fetching collections and avatar files
