The latest version of MetaHuman for Maya is available with Unreal Engine 5.7. If you do not see an update in launcher, please install Unreal Engine 5.7 first, add the MetaHuman for Maya plugin and then follow the installation steps. This version of MetaHuman for Maya is compatible with MetaHuman characters created in both Unreal Engine 5.6 and Unreal Engine 5.7
MetaHuman for Maya enables you to assemble and customize your MetaHuman characters in Autodesk Maya
With MetaHuman for Maya you can
Use the Character Assembler tool to assemble any MetaHuman Character asset exported from Unreal Engine using the DCC Export assembly pipeline as a rigged and textured character ready to animate
Export Metahuman-compatible grooms created with legacy XGen Descriptions to Unreal Engine using the Groom Exporter so they can be worn by your character
Apply minor technical fixes, creative modification of expressions, or pseudo-human features to the character’s head using Expression Editor and advanced rigging tools
Modify a character’s body using Pose Editor to apply technical fixes or create new kinds of human, humanoid, or fantasy characters by authoring the secondary deformations using RBF (radial basis function) and SwingTwist solvers
